Cycle gAmes 2019

Register now for the 2nd Annual Cycle gAmes, a bike ride and fundraiser benefiting Mainstream Living and our programs for individuals with disabilities. The event begins and ends at Time Out Arcade Bar in Downtown Ames. All riders receive an event t-shirt and lunch following the ride.

Route Details:

Laid-back ride (8 miles) - This ride will depart at 10:00am and is intended for riders of all ages and abilities. Families with children are encouraged to participate in this ride. You'll be led through the trails of Ames with plenty of stops for fun, games, and even a few surprises. This ride will move at a fairly slow pace and will stop frequently for games. It is expected to take approximately 2 hours.

Level-up Ride (20 miles) - This ride will depart at 10:00am and is intended for those wanting a bit more of a challenge. It will be led by an experienced cyclist, but will move at a comfortable pace and will stop along the way for refreshments. It is expected to take approximately 2 hours.

Leaderboard Ride (40 miles) - This route will leave Ames and head east, stopping at the TimeOut location in Nevada before going north and circling back to the starting location. Cyclists interested in getting some pre-RAGBRAI miles in are great candidates for this ride, though any and all experienced riders are welcome. This ride is expected to take approximately 4 hours. There are planned comfort stops with refreshments and restrooms.
